About the Cookbook
Breakfast is important. However, it is often difficult for the following 3 reasons:
- Time is of limited supply in the morning;
- People are sometimes allergic to common breakfast foods such as wheat, dairy, and eggs;
- Many conventional breakfast foods are simple carbohydrates and don’t have enough protein.
This book addresses these challenges. We could write volumes about nutrition, but our focus here is more to answer the question we hear every day in our private practices - What should I eat for breakfast?
Our orientation toward breakfast is to:
- Balance blood sugar
- Reduce or eliminate food allergens
- Focus on nutrient-rich, whole foods
